The European Centre for Public Affairs (ECPA) has announced the appointment of Maria Laptev to the post of Executive Director of the association.

Laptev, a Senior Consultant with over 30 years’ experience working with the European Institutions at EU level, takes over the directorship of the organisation with responsibility for the development and co-ordination of the ECPA’s programme of high level events and training for senior public affairs practitioners across the spectrum of stakeholders operating in the EU, including the EU Institutions.

“The ECPA is unique in its reach, and in its purpose of bringing together stakeholders from across every stage of the Public Affairs process” said Laptev. “ The EPCA has a heritage of bringing public affairs professionals together to share best practice, and I’m very excited to be looking to the future with a refreshed and innovative offer for our Members”.
